God's Will

Even when we are in God's will for our lives, it does not mean that we will escape hard times. We will still go through those seasons of struggle and strife when it seems Satan trips our triggers. Do not get me wrong we can experience times of peacefulness and joy.  Sometimes we will experience hardship to mold and make us stronger to lean on the Holy Spirit.

During these times we will question if we are truly in the will of GOD. I think a lot of times we believe that if we are in the will of GOD we will not experience bad days.   We all have those days when where we just want to stay in bed and pull the covers over our head.

To be honest with you I do not think there is a single Christian that I know of who has a perfect life. You may see that on TV or the internet or even in church, but it is contrary to the truth.

We live in a culture and time where we can mask it up! We can "appear" we have it all together and we really do not. God looks deep inside our hearts and sees the real person. The Pharisees and Sadducees in Jesus' time did that too!  We can look and dress and talk like we are perfect! But in all honesty Jesus called them hypocrites!  They put up religious fronts. Jesus called them out in the scriptures!! He saw them as they really were!!!

We have to be transparent not only to Jesus but to those we cross paths with. Ever meet someone who looks and sounds like they have it all together? Well, they surely have down days too! They may be right smack in the will of GOD and be struggling.

Do not let satan steal your joy and peace and sound mind. Hardships will come in all different shapes and sizes...from job loss, divorce, and yes even grief...Satan will come to test and trigger you as long as you live! His scheme is to keep you from following God's will!

I want to encourage you to take the nail scarred hand of Jesus...right now! Whatever you are doing and whatever you are going through...Stop and lift your hands in surrender and to the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to invade every area of your life.

God never said that hardships and suffering would not come to those who wholeheartedly who walk in God's will...He wants and requires your obedience in everything that comes across your path!

Will you choose Him today even if your whole world seems to be crumbling? All those obstacles you "go through" are forming and fashioning your faith in Jesus to see you through those dark times...Those times when the dark times fall and they will, where your question where you are Christ.  Jesus is the light in the darkness.

Set your sights on Him when the darkness seems to never end. Reach out to Jesus and take his hand and He will lead you to Your Promised Land!!
